One of the added benefits of seeing lots of great bands play live is that we also witness some fantastic new artists yet to release their music and we’re in the fortunate position of being able to help spread the word about the acts we’re passionate about.
When we began as a listings website it was always our intention to cast our gaze wider and do whatever we could to promote music in any way we could. We’re now linked with artists around the world and we have made some wonderful friends as a result.
You’re probably reading this because you’re a musician or you’re in a band and you want to tell us about your music in the hope that we can release it for you. That’s great. We believe in you and want to help. There are just a few things we’d ask before you send us your info.
1) Please look at the bands we write about on this website and also take time to look at the roster of acts we’ve released music by. We’re naturally more enthusiastic about bands who excite us and some music is not for us, you’d be better off with a label more suited to your musical style.
2) Having said that we love innovation and individuality so if you think Mekong Delta is a good fit for your music send us your info anyway.
3) We prefer NOT to received MP3′s. They clog up our inbox. We much prefer links to a webpage or Social Media page/music player such as Myspace / Facebook / Bandcamp or Soundcloud. We also have a dedicated label Soundcloud account where you can easily share your tracks with us.
4) If you’ve not heard from us after a couple of weeks feel free to email and ask if we’ve listed to your music, we’re not ogres, but we do have busy times and things are sometimes prioritized ahead of others. WE LISTEN TO ALL MUSIC THAT IS SUBMITTED and we’ll give you feedback when we can. We can’t advise on where to go if we don’t consider you suitable for our label but we wish you well.
5) And that’s it. Thanks for checking us out. We hope this will be the beginning of a great relationship together.
